This is a class for all levels that aims to relax and lengthen muscles. Focused predominantly on stretching and releasing tight muscles and tendons, Deep Stretch relieves strain on the skeletal system. Flowing through poses slowly and emphasizing each enables yogis to become more aware and mindful of their own bodies.

Explore & Flow Yoga
60 min
This class provides a combination of healthy alignment and transitions. The opportunity to explore new and familiar poses will bring lots of freedom to your practice. You will develop fluidity and creativity. Your yoga practice will soar! Every yogi and every body will grow their practice. The “perfect” yoga pose is the one that best suits the needs of the individual doing the pose at that moment.
The Explore & Flow Yoga class may also include other aspects of yoga like meditation, yin, and yoga philosophy.

Gentle Flow Yoga

These classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced students. Gentle Flow will offer some flow, including some movements up and down off of the mat. Postures may include, but are not limited to, sitting, hands & knees, standing poses, balancing poses, etc. Expect lots of modifications and cues to help you have the safest practice possible.
Students of all levels will find these classes accessible. If you are trying yoga for the very first time or consider yourself fairly new to yoga, these classes will provide an easy pace and detailed instruction for learning and exploring the basics. Although more challenging poses and sequences may be offered at times, modifications will be given to make the practice accessible to everyone.

Gentle Yoga

Stretch, strengthen and relax the body in this nurturing practice. Gentle and deliberate movement, pranayama (yogic breathing), guided relaxation, and supported pose(s) combine to increase flexibility, balance, centeredness and well-being. For any level student who wants a healing class. Ideal on high-stress or lower-energy days. If you are new to yoga this is a class for you.

Gentle Restorative Yin Yoga
60 min
Restorative Yin Yoga consists primarily of sitting or lying postures that aim to promote deep relaxation, enhance circulation, increase joint mobilization, clear energetic blockages, and heal the body. This full body, gentle yoga practice will guide you through a series of passive poses allowing you time to fully release and relax. Physically, the poses in this class enhance the natural range of motion around joints allowing you the ability to release deep layers of connective tissue. Energetically, the practice will enhance the flow of prana (life force) in the tissues around the joints, where energy often stagnates. Restorative Yoga can help strengthen energy channels which ultimately support the organs, immune system, and emotional well-being. Relax into stillness and find length throughout your body.

Gentle Slow Flow Yoga – Mixed Level

This class is designed for beginners through intermediate students. Slow flow vinyasa, mixed level, will help you find the space between poses while retaining the rhythm of a flow yoga class. The dynamic is a combination of vinyasa flow and Hatha, with fewer transitions than Vinyasa and more flow that Hatha. We will begin with the basics while allowing for more challenging poses based on your practice level. Props are encouraged to allow the body to fully achieve each pose in a comfortable manner.
This is a great class for students looking for less of a rigorous experience, those who are newer to yoga or those who need a change of pace, yet still have the option to take it to the next level. Also the perfect class for students with injuries or limitations.

Yin Yoga for Deep Stretching

Slow deep stretches promoting deep flexibility and focus on breathing will leave you feeling like you have had a massage and a nap. This class complements your practice in other styles of yoga as well as your activities in life. The practice will be individualized for your level and needs for that day. Some say that they can’t do yoga because they are not flexible. And that is exactly why Yin Yoga is a wonderful place to begin your yoga journey. Come stretch and nourish yourself with us.
Students who have had joint replacement surgery are welcome to join with approval from your doctor. Modifications will be offered to support each student’s unique needs.

Yoga Fit & Flow

Yoga Fit & Flow will make you sweat and challenge the way you look at modern vinyasa yoga. This class will move through flowing sequences with focus on the muscle groups that help strengthen your practice in a more obvious way. Feel the entire core engage, pulse through squats and lunges, and elevate the heart rate through higher intensity sequences. Don’t let the word FIT scare you, trust that the class will strengthen your body/mind connection. Flow and sweat to fun playlists and leave feeling like you’ve left everything on the mat.

Continuing Gentle Yoga

Continuing Gentle Yoga is for students who have practiced Gentle Yoga regularly and are looking to expand and explore the practice. The class combines a series of postures where there is a lighter paced flow allowing students to move with a sense of ease from one posture to another, coordinating with the breath. While this class is more dynamic, options for increasing and decreasing intensity are given throughout the class. Open, cleanse, and energize through movements systematically designed to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Students will gain greater understanding of alignment and balance in the body.
