Zumba®

Zumba® is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.
Please reserve your sneakers for Zumba class ONLY as we strive to keep our dance floors as clean as possible.

Tap Dance for Fitness

Tap Dance for Fitness is a 6 week long series offered seasonally. Check our Series Schedule for upcoming offerings.
Tap dance uses the sound of the tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. Tap dance sharpens reflexes and improves memory skills and coordination. Beginning classes will work toward establishing fundamental tap movements, vocabulary and will work on basic rhythms and steps that progress into fun and lively dance combinations. More advanced classes will involve more intricate rhythms and combinations as we progress over the course of the 6 weeks. Tap dancing is a great way to develop musicality, timing and balance.

A line dance is a choreographed dance in which a group of people dance along to a repeating sequence of steps while arranged in one or more lines or rows. These lines usually face all in the same direction, or less commonly face each other. In the 6 week series you’ll learn dances from the past and present set to a variety of fun, upbeat music.
