I followed my family to Myrtle Beach from New York and have not looked back since. My yoga practice began in New York but it was here in Myrtle Beach that I embraced it wholeheartedly. It has helped me find peace and gain inner strength. My practice has helped me to breathe purposefully and make a mind and body connection. Yoga challenges me to live my best life every day.
My 200 hour Vinyasa Bhakti training was completed at Yoga In Common and my Yin Yoga training at Shanti Yoga. I will forever be a learner of the practice. I can never thank my instructors enough for giving me a daily practice which has enhanced my ability to be present in the moment and confident in various situations.
In my classes, I love to provide a balanced sequence, a focus on breathing, and a safe place to explore your body and spirit. You can also expect to hear inspirational quotes in the beginning and end of each session, non-judgmental language, and respect for who you are. No matter the age, my desire is that you leave my class feeling rejuvenated and strong; physically, emotionally and spiritually.
When I am not practicing yoga, you may find me at a local event, bird watching from my patio or doing creative projects. I also enjoy reading and video games. My favorite place is where the heart is.
