This is a class where people in almost any physical condition can move and do yoga safely. This class combines therapy ball massage work with somatic movements and therapeutic yoga techniques. This work is designed to re-teach your brain and nervous system to release problematic holding patterns throughout the body. Self-Massage is also an effective way to heighten body awareness so that one can learn to be more fully present in physical form. The movements are gentle enough for anyone, including those with injuries, and they complement the therapy ball work by developing improved motor control over your muscles. Stretching, breathing and holding yoga poses, done with a therapeutic approach will open joints, increase flexibility and build strength from the inside out.
