Gentle Restorative Yoga

The first 30 minutes of this class will include a brief meditation as well pranayama (breathing exercises) to help us promote inner peace and tranquility. This will be followed by gentle stretching and movement to prepare our bodies for the 45 minute restorative practice. During the restorative portion of the class, we will move into a series of soothing poses supported by blankets, bolsters and blocks offering us the opportunity to slow down, open our bodies, and linger in an effortless manner. The class is 75 minutes as it meets from 10-11:15 weekly.
