Youth Program

Movement Works offers yoga classes for children and teenagers from preschool age school through high school.  Classes are divided into age levels, to ensure that the content is appropriate and to foster a sense of community, in which students support each other and learn to take the lessons yoga teaches out into the world around them. In all cases, the emphasis is on having fun, moving well, and settling into the body and breath. Yoga classes can also provide a safe haven during times of stress and change, where kids and teenagers alike can tune into their inner strengths and discover a sense of calm.
